Welcome to a spot called Arkalon Park, a little-known area of Kansas in a town called Liberal.

This beautiful spot is often overlooked when scouting for a good camping spot, but we like the quiet. Plus, we know not every park in Kansas can be as cool as others. We just enjoy being here.

A great way to enjoy your day here is fishing, where you do need a license but you'll have lots of fun playing catch-and-release with your buddies.

One cool feature is a mini waterfall, which you can't stick your feet in, but the sound of the water rushing past sure is relaxing.

There's no hunting allowed here, but wildlife spotting is just as good anyways. Why not take a hike around the area and just enjoy being outside for a while?

If you're into camping, they have RV areas as well as camping zones where you can relax for at least two weeks if you want to. Who wouldn't want to see this scene every evening?

The park is open from sunrise to sunset for activities, and the campground is open from April 1 through October 15th for visitors.

For more information about the park, a list of rules, and more, check out their City Of Liberal webpage.
