The Hawkeye State is full of amazing rustic vacation rentals, but our favorite at the moment has to be a charming country cabin located in the tiny town of Cumming, Iowa. This town of under 500 people is one of the smallest towns in the Des Moines metro area, and that makes it an incredible combo of modern town and rural haven. This country cabin sleeps seven guests and is surrounded by some of the most beautiful views in all of Iowa. Read on to discover what makes this Airbnb getaway so unique.

Surrounded by natural beauty, this rustic 1920s cabin is the perfect place for a getaway.

The historic home has been transformed into a modern vacation rental, complete with wifi and all the modern amenities you'd expect.

But despite that, it still maintains its classic rustic charm. Just look at the decor in the full kitchen and dining room!

This spacious cabin is full of surprises, like this huge den complete with a home theater...

And even a foosball table! Everyone in the group will be occupied until late into the night.

And when it's time to bed down, this cabin has two bedrooms, one with a single and one with a king bed.

There's also a sofa bed... and a classic bunk bed, perfect for the kids, for a total of seven spots.

When the sun comes up, take a spot on the porch for morning coffee, and take in that natural beauty.

And then it's time to set off, explore the surrounding small trails, and kick off a day of adventure.
