When you are looking for a unique overnight stay in Idaho, the Lakeview Deluxe Cabins at Ponderosa State Park are the perfect option. The cabins are located along the shore of the stunning Payette Lake.
There are nine cabins for you to reserve at this state park. Each of these cabins offers everything you need for a delightful getaway including kitchens with full-size refrigerators, ovens, microwaves, dishwashers, dishes, and more.
Depending on the cabin you choose, it will accommodate from four to six individuals. Many of these cabins have different floor plans and some are ADA accessible.
The Elk Cabin is the largest cabin you can reserve. This charming cabin comfortably sleeps six individuals and features vaulted ceilings and a loft.
There is a two-night minimum stay for each reservation, but that shouldn’t be a problem. When you arrive, you may never want to go home.
The price depends on the cabin you choose and the time of year you are staying. Reserving these cabins during peak season (May 1 to September 30) will cost more than reserving the cabins during the remainder of the year.
However, no matter when you stay or which cabin you choose, be sure to sit on the porch and enjoy the fresh air and lake views - there’s nothing better.
