The Little-Known Cabin In Island Park, Idaho Is The Perfect Place For A Winter Getaway
When the snow starts to fall and the temperatures drop, there’s nothing like heading into the great outdoors. While many destinations around the state are perfect for a winter getaway, one of my personal favorites is Island Park. Here, there is plenty to see and do and you can even stay in one of the best vacation rentals in Idaho. In fact, there’s a charming Kabino cabin with a hot tub that’s the perfect place to snuggle up during the colder months of the year.
Island Park is one of the best mountain towns in Idaho. You may even consider it the best winter getaway destination in Idaho.
During this time of the year, the crowds significantly decrease, allowing you to more easily enjoy this breathtaking area.
During a winter visit, I recommend you spend some time at Harriman State Park. Here, you’ll find more than 24 miles of groomed trails for Nordic skiing. This is also a wonderful spot for a day on snowshoes or fat bikes, or simply watching animals.
But sometimes, you don’t even need to leave the house. Sometimes, the best winter getaways are those where you can hunker down inside with those you love. The Kabino Cabin in Island Park has everything you need.
As you walk inside, you’ll be met with open space and inviting decor.
Make sure you bring a good book and some hot cocoa so you can snuggle up in front of the large fireplace.
The spacious kitchen and dining area make preparing all of your meals easy.
You can comfortably sleep up to five guests in this Island Park cabin. There are three bedrooms and one full bathroom spread throughout the home.
While the interior has plenty of amenities to help you relax and disconnect, when you need some fresh air, head outside. Watch the snow fall and animals play from the deck.
You can always unwind in the hot tub as well. There’s something extra magical about the warm water and a beautiful winter landscape surrounding you.
For a winter getaway in Island Park, Idaho, the Kabino Cabin is a great place to set up base camp. Explore the local mountain town or relax inside — there’s something to do no matter the weather outside.
