The Idaho Airbnb With a Next-Level Hot Tub and Cedar-Barrel Sauna That Redefines Cozy Season

This cozy Idaho Airbnb offers a next-level hot tub and cedar-barrel sauna, creating the ultimate stay for rest, warmth, and quiet mountain vibes.

Idaho winters can be quite hard for me. The cold and gloomy days can make my fight with the winter blues very difficult. However, I’ve found that one of the best ways to lift my spirits and help me enjoy this time of the year is a getaway or even a staycation. Located in Island Park is an Airbnb that redefines cozy season. Not only is the home filled with amenities to help you unwind and relax, but there’s also a private hot tub, barrel sauna, arcade, and so much more to help you disconnect and let a little warmth fill your soul during this chilly time of the year.

Island Park is a bucket-list-worthy winter destination. During the summer months, this mountain town comes alive with tourists floating and fishing the rivers, driving ATVs, and filling up campgrounds and hiking trails. In the winter, however, this town takes on a much more sleepy vibe. Snow transforms the area, creating a winter wonderland everywhere you look. It’s quiet, peaceful, and perfect for a few days away from the monotony of daily life.

The Moody Moose Manor, a charming Airbnb in Island Park, is the definition of a cozy getaway. This cabin is quite spacious, accommodating up to 16 guests across its four bedrooms and two bathrooms. This is a winter getaway where you can easily bring your entire family for some time together.

As you walk inside, you’ll be greeted with an open floor plan, making the space feel even larger. Snuggle up with your favorite book or enjoy good conversations in the living room, next to the warmth coming from the fireplace. Bring plenty of groceries as the fully equipped kitchen makes preparing all of your meals a breeze. You may find that the cozy and homey vibe of this cabin is exactly what you need, and you don’t want to leave during your stay.

Sleep comes easy at this Airbnb with its 11 plush beds. And when you aren’t asleep, you may want to let out your competitive side in the arcade, which features several arcade games and an air hockey table.

But if you are like me and just want to stay someplace where rest and relaxation are easy, you’ll find several amenities here for you. Outside, not only are you surrounded by the sounds and scenes of the mountains, but you can sit back and soak away your frustrations in the hot tub. Stay up late one night and enjoy a long soak while staring at the sky above. The warmth of the hot water and the twinkle of the stars above are sure to give your mind and body the relaxing break you greatly deserve.

Of course, it isn’t just the private hot tub where you can warm up during your stay. Experience the physical benefits of the barrel sauna's heat, then sit back on the deck with your favorite hot beverage in hand and simply enjoy a few more minutes of quiet. You may even spot some wildlife playing in the snow and trees.

If you do want to get out and explore, Yellowstone National Park is just a short drive away. Just remember that during the winter months, most roads in the park are closed, and you’ll need to explore on a snowmobile or a snowcoach. I recommend you also spend some time at Harriman State Park, where you’ll find more than 20 miles of groomed trails for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, or fat biking. You may even want to snowshoe or cross-country ski to Mesa Falls. This frozen waterfall is quite a stunning sight.

However, if rest and relaxation are what you are after, you’ll easily find it at this cozy cabin Airbnb in Island Park. Soak in the hot tub, warm up in the sauna, and nap in the plush beds. Enjoy good conversations with family, laugh, and create core memories near the next-level fireplace. These are the moments that make a winter getaway so magical.
