Recently, on a road trip through the south, I ran into Dogfish Head at a side-of-the-road BBQ restaurant in Alabama, and I was SO excited to see a little reminder of home. A lot of Delawareans don't realize that beyond their restaurant and brewery, Dogfish Head actually owns a beautiful Inn in Lewes, just minutes from the beach and Cape Henlopen State Park. Their Inn is truly the most unique hotel in Delaware!

The Dogfish Inn is the former site of the landmark Vesuvio Hotel.

The Inn's location couldn't be more perfect! It is literally just steps away from the Lewes canalfront.

You'll find the Lightship Overfalls, waterfront dining, a beautiful beach, and a boat/kayak launch within walking distance. Lewes is perhaps the most charming town in Delaware, so the Dogfish Inn is in the best location possible.
