This Delaware Yurt Offers Unforgettable Night Sky Views

There is nothing like looking up at the stars and planets on a dark, clear night. While I enjoy stargazing, I have to admit that it has been quite some time since I’ve slept under the constellations. I would love to revisit my old love of camping, but I need to ease my way back into the experience. Luckily, with more and more glamping sites popping up across the region, there are endless ways to spend a night in nature without the hassle of pitching a tent.

Each glampground offers guests something special, but one particular Airbnb glamping property in the town of Selbyville definitely takes the cake. An overnight at the unique Stargazer Yurt offers incredible stargazing and so much more.

A vacation at the Stargazer Yurt is one that you will not soon forget. Step inside and you will find an enclosed space perfect for two. The top of the yurt has a clear 360-degree panel roof that allows you to stargaze from the comfort of a cozy queen-sized bed. During the day, the roof can be closed off to block out the sun. Electricity, WiFi, and a multi-speed fan are included in glamping comforts. You can also find shared bathrooms and showers just a short walk away.

The rental also features a fire pit, picnic table, and an outdoor grill. And there is much additional fun to be had onsite. The Stargazer Yurt is one of several structures within the area’s Cowtown Glamping Cabin property, a glamping experience with a Western theme. A rental at Cowtown includes outdoor games, access to the property’s Old West town area, and visits with a slew of friendly animals.

A Scottish Highland bull, a colorful rescued peacock, and an alpaca named Fonzie are just a few of the friends you may encounter on the ranch. Guests have the option of adding on a variety of animal experiences for an additional fee.   

While you might feel like you are vacationing in the Old West, you are only miles from the beaches at Fenwick Island State Park and Ocean City, Maryland. Shopping areas, a water park, wineries, restaurants, and even a casino are just a short drive away.
