This Colorado Hillside Cabin Will Make You Feel Like You’re in a Movie

The ultimate mountain getaway, Cabin Above the Clouds is removed from the hustle and bustle of the big city, so you can soak up the gorgeous views with no distractions. It's situated on five sprawling acres and accommodates up to six guests in three bedrooms.

Upstairs is the spacious primary bed and bath, as well as the second bathroom. The downstairs area is essentially a garage apartment, with one private bedroom, a Murphy bed that pulls out to create a third bedroom of sorts, and a fun living space with a TV, foosball table, and a garage door that can be opened during the summer (just don't leave the garage unattended if you choose to open it—the wildlife may take it as an invitation to come play).

The upstairs has its own cozy living room, complete with lots of comfortable seating, an indoor fireplace, and large windows that look out on the beautiful surroundings. When it's cold outside, nothing compares to curling up under a blanket and letting the fire warm your bones as the snow falls.

Without a doubt, the cabin's main selling point is the view from the upper deck. The tree-lined mountains appear to extend infinitely into the distance, and there are no cities or towns to be seen in any direction. Imagine sitting out here with your morning tea or coffee and watching the sun come up over the towering peaks. That's my idea of perfection.

In the evening, enjoy a relaxing soak in the hot tub on the front porch. Let the warm water melt away any tension as the setting sun paints the sky a beautiful palette of colors. It's easy to see why this is one of the best Airbnbs with views in Colorado.

One of the neatest things about staying here is the abundance of wildlife you'll see. There's a hummingbird feeder on the balcony, and in the warmer months, the pint-sized creatures are almost close enough to touch.
