Eleven Mile State Park is a very special park! The reservoir was completed in 1932 to store water for Colorado residents. It's a fantastic spot for recreation of all kinds.

The reservoir itself is quite beautiful. Many of the campgrounds on its shores are open year-round, and there are recreational opportunities in the park during all four seasons.

Paddleboarding is also a fun activity on Eleven Mile Canyon Reservoir. However, swimming and other body-water contact activities like jetskiing, scuba diving, water skiing, and wading are prohibited.

This is also a great place to hike! There are many miles of trails in the park and on other public land nearby. Bikes are also allowed on most park trails.
