West Virginia offers a unique and diverse food culture that surprises and delights visitors.

West Virginia may be one of the smallest states in the country, but one of the biggest perks of living in West Virginia is that we have tons of interesting and different food. The state’s most iconic dishes are completely normal to us West Virginia residents, of course; however, it’s easy to forget that others who don’t live in the state might find some of West Virginia foods a bit, baffling, to say the least. To prove our point, we found some footage of West Coasters trying the food in West Virginian for the first time, and it’s as hilarious as you’d expect. See for yourself:
