That being said, statistically, wealthy areas tend to have great economies, great schools, and low crime rates.

The city council works hard to create a sense of community. Their weekly Farmers Market is fantastic, and the Bellevue Downtown Park is amazing.

Bellevue's economy is strong, which makes sense since it's such an affluent area.

Expedia, T-Mobile, and Microsoft (in part) are all headquartered there, and there are plenty of jobs in construction, retail, healthcare, and education as well.

If you have any doubts about Bellevue's greatness, just go during the holiday season.

Between the annual Snowflake Lane Parade and the Garden d'Lights display, you'll definitely be charmed.

You may have some preconceived notions about Bellevue. But love it or hate it, it was the fastest-growing city in Washington for a number of years, so it's clearly a great place to live.
