This Mid-Sized City in Utah Is Just About Perfect
With just over 57,000 residents, Saratoga Springs still has somewhat of a small-town feel while offering all the perks of a city.
Just like in the classic children’s book "Goldilocks and the Three Bears," the sweet spot for most things in life—in my opinion, at least—is right in the middle. I especially feel that way about cities. When they’re too large, a simple trip to the grocery store can eat up an entire afternoon. On the other hand, sleepy small towns lack the dining, shopping, and entertainment opportunities of their big city counterparts. That’s exactly why an up-and-coming city in Utah like Saratoga Springs is just perfect. It’s one of the fastest-growing cities in our state, but don’t let that deter you. With just over 57,000 residents, it still has somewhat of a small-town feel while still offering all the perks of a city. Whether you’re looking to relocate or just need a new vacation spot, this is the place to go.

Nestled on the shores of the beautiful Utah Lake, Saratoga Springs is a great city to visit, live, work, and raise a family. Despite its rapid growth rate, the city has a strong sense of community, with events throughout the year designed to bring local families together. It’s a suburban paradise, conveniently located just outside of Provo but without the business or frenetic energy of a large city.

Saratoga Springs is also brimming with parks and green spaces. In fact, there are 29 city parks in Saratoga Springs to consider, with more than 260 acres for exploration, rest, and adventure. Saratoga Springs is a family-oriented city, and the green spaces are just one more way to bring family and community together.

Whether you're spending time on the water during the warmer months or taking a contemplative winter hike around the lake, there are plenty of places to spend time outdoors, including at the public marina, which is open year-round. You can even put on your hiking boots and enjoy the Saratoga Springs section of the Utah Lake Shoreline Trail. This multi-use path is a great way to enjoy lake, mountain, and even city views.
This little city is ideal for people who love getting fresh air. And with its low crime rate and wonderful school system, you’d be hard-pressed to find a better place to raise a family.
