8 Hills Every Ohioan Is Willing To Die On
Ohio people are the best people. Sure, we can't drive in the winter and like our chili served on top of spaghetti, but there's more to people from Ohio than just a few qualities and quirks. There are deep-rooted parts of our culture that we're immensely proud of, even if the Bengals have *still* never won a Super Bowl. These things are hills every Ohioan is willing to die on, and we bet you'll find yourself shaking your head in agreement as you read along!
1. Chili is best served on top of spaghetti, Cincinnati-style.
2. This aisle at the grocery store? It's the pop aisle. POP. Not soda.
3. We'll admit it: we can't drive in the snow. Or ice. Or sometimes, even rain.
4. It's 100% okay with us to use the heat and AC in the same day.
Here in Ohio, we are used to crazy weather and temperature swings, and we have no shame about keeping our house comfortable!
5. Speaking of weather, fall is our favorite.
Even if Mother Nature didn't get the memo and it's 85 degrees in October, we will be wearing our flannel and L.L.Bean boots and drinking a PSL, okay! Don't dampen our spirit.
6. Every September, all Ohioans are German for a weekend of polka dancing and bratwursts and beer!
7. We will always, always hold out hope that the Bengals will win a Super Bowl.
Always a bridesmaid, never a bride, we are die-hard Who Dey fans forever!
8. While we may be completely split in our allegiance between the Bengals and the Browns, one thing we all agree on is that OSU reigns supreme, and Michigan is the worst.
We have a lot of pride here in the Buckeye State, and maybe we're a bit stubborn at times, but these are hills every Ohioan is willing to die on -- and happily, if it's a hill of cheddar cheese atop a 3-Way.
