Here Are 10 Things You’ll Never Catch Anyone From Southern California Doing
Discover the top hiking trails in the Pacific Northwest known for their scenic views and diverse landscapes.
If you were born and raised in Southern California or you've just lived here long enough to call this splendid place home, I bet you'll agree that there are just some things that we don't do.
10. Staying at home when we could be lounging in the grass with this view.
It's a rough life but someone's gotta do it!
9. Eating indoors when we could be dining outside at one of Southern California's many restaurants with an epic outdoor patio.
8. Staying in a boring hotel...
When we could be sleeping under the stars in Joshua Tree.
7. Driving to Coronado Island instead of hopping on the ferry.
Yes, the Coronado bridge is quite a beauty, but nothing beats that SoCal breeze while riding the ferry.
6. Taking the congested freeway instead of taking a scenic back road.
If you live here long enough you quickly discover that there are some back roads that are a lot quicker than the main highway.
5. Eating at a chain Mexican restaurant when we could be at our favorite hole-in-the-wall.
We can't help ourselves...we're pretty spoiled when it comes to good Mexican food.
4. Saying no to a day out on the water with a friend who has a boat.
Always, always make friends with people who have boats. That's just the smart thing to do if you ask me.
3. Going inside to order an In 'N Out burger even when the drive thru is completely backed up.
There's just something about the drive thru that makes the burgers even better.
2. Missing out on a scenic Sunday drive along the Pacific Coast Highway.
1. Heading outside on a rainy day.
It's not like we're wimps or anything, but sometimes it's nice to have an excuse to stay inside in our pajamas and spend the day watching movies.
I think I can relate to pretty much all of these things on this list. If you are lucky enough to call Southern California home, I bet these 12 things that we always have to explain to out-of-towners also sound familiar.
