Spend a leisurely day outdoors at Falls Park, tucked in Sioux Falls, that's home to the tallest waterfall in South Dakota.

Falls Park Trail, an easy .04-mile loop trail, will lead you through the sprawling park and straight to the gushing waterfall that boasts several viewing areas.

Stroll along the concrete path, admiring the lush grass and towering trees, until you reach the pedestrian bridge.

The pedestrian bridge stands right over the waterfall, promising sweeping views and the opportunity to snap unforgettable photographs.

For more spellbinding views, stop by the observation tower.

After admiring the waterfall, go for a leisurely stroll around the park, or spend the entire day. Bring along a picnic, and eat at one of the picnic tables or find a grassy spot near the waterfall to spread out.

If you forgot to bring a picnic, stop by the Falls Overlook Cafe. Enjoy a filling lunch or a delicious treat.

The park also features playgrounds for the kiddos, drinking fountains, a visitors center, and sculptures.
