According to a recent report from KELOLAND, there are approximately 10,000 U.S. parks and recreation agencies, but less than 2% are accredited by the Commission for Accreditation of Park and Recreation Agencies, including Sioux Falls.

Awarded every five years, the Commission for Accreditation of Park and Recreation Agencies holds more than 151 standards. This year, Sioux Falls had a perfect score, making the choice a no-brainer for the Commission.
