In a state known for its abundance of tasty seafood, it’s tough to claim that any single restaurant has the best in Rhode Island. But when it comes to the most variety of unique options, the answer is often Fluke in Newport. Not only is the seafood here sustainable and perfectly prepared, but the menu often includes options most of us have never heard of.

While this isn't a unique vision in Rhode Island, this place certainly has a one-in-a-million vibe, thanks in part to the menu variety.
But you certainly don't need a special reason to dine here — this is fine dining in a laid-back setting.
After he went to culinary school and spent years in the industry perfecting his craft, he wound up at Fluke (and the patrons are thankful).
You'll find things like scallops and shellfish on the menu, but also unique options like monkfish, skate, swordfish, and (of course) fluke. And since the menu rotates often, you never know what you'll be able to order.
Seafood is the specialty here, but it's far from the only delicious dinner option.
That still leaves the majority of the year to have a meal at this beloved place. When they open, they'll be serving dinner from 5 to 9 p.m.
