If there is any type of cuisine synonymous with Rhode Island, it’s seafood. We’re called the Ocean State for a reason. With over 400 miles of coastline, it makes sense that it’s hard to drive more than five miles without finding a spot to get some delicious fresh seafood. We are so lucky to not only have access to all this fantastic food, but to have festivals that celebrate it!

The Rhode Island seafood festival is an annual tradition that locals and travelers alike look forward to every year.

This year the festival is held on Saturday, September 11th from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday, September 12th from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Taking place in India Point Park in Providence, the festival hosts a multitude of trucks and stands offering seafood of all sorts.

Satify your cravings with oysters, lobster rolls, stuffed quahogs and everything in between!

The hardest part of attending this festival might be not eating absolutely everything in sight!

Best of all there is live music to accompany your meal throughout both days of the festival. So you can discover some new favorite musicians while stuffing yourself.
