Pack up the car for a day of adventure as you journey to Coral Caverns, a natural wonder that sits just outside of Bedford.

And, at the end of the hour and a half drive from downtown Pittsburgh, you'll arrive at Coral Caverns, which has welcomed visitors for more than 80 years.

So, wear your comfiest shoes (you'll be doing a lot of walking) to explore the only fossilized coral reef cavern in the world.

The fossilized cavern, which date back more than 400 million years, promises all sorts of surprises.

Keep an eye out for the remains of sea creatures, including coral, tucked in the fossil wall.

And, marvel at the natural cave formations during the 45-minute guided tour.
