This Restaurant In The Pennsylvania Countryside Has The Best Doggone Food You’ve Tried In Ages
Remember those Sunday afternoons when everyone came together for a family dinner? Maybe your family still follows that treasured tradition. Next time you’re up for a family meal, leave the cooking to someone else. Hickory Bridge Farm Restaurant, a countryside restaurant in Pennsylvania, promises a delightful family-style meal in a relaxed, charming setting.
Enjoy the countryside as you travel 15 minutes from Gettysburg to Hickory Bridge Farm. The restaurant and B&B has been an area favorite since 1977.
Pass cottages and farmhouses, where B&B guests stay, as you make your way toward the historic farm. The farm's history goes back to the late 1600s.
Nestled in a 165-year-old restored barn, Hickory Bridge Farm Restaurant offers a cozy, laid back atmosphere.
Sit back and relax with family and friends as you await your home cooked meal.
Dinner (or lunch) fixings depend on the date. On March 24 and 25, for example, diners will enjoy barbecue ribs, oven fried chicken, and crab imperial.
Family-style meals come with salad, an assortment of sides, and dessert. Raise your glass in a toast with a wine or a cocktail.
Of course, you can also dine in the restored barn for special holiday meals. Hickory Bridge Farm hosts family-style meals for Mother's Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
Due to the restaurant's popularity, diners are strongly encouraged to make reservations.
Sit down to a family-style dinner Fridays and Saturdays from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. (Hours are for March through May.) Hickory Bridge Farm also hosts lunch and Thursday dinners on select dates.
