Don’t Pass By This Food Hall Housed In A Pennsylvania Gas Station Without Stopping
No matter how long we've lived in Pennsylvania, we all know that we can find some downright delicious eats in two of the most popular gas stations/convenience stores in the state - Wawa and Sheets. (Which one we favor tends to depend on where in Pennsylvania we live.) But there are quite a few other gems hiding in gas stations and former gas stations that are well worth a spot on our culinary bucket lists, too. Like this food hall in Dublin, Pennsylvania.
If you live in or have traveled through Dublin, you've likely driven past what's now known as The Station at least a few times. It has been a town landmark, after all, for decades.
Before it opened as a food hall, The Dublin Service Station helped keep drivers fueled up and on the road. It had a long, rich history in town, dating back to the 1920s.
The local landmark eventually shuttered and was purchased in 2018. The Station opened in 2021.
Today, the popular food hall maintains all of the charm of yesteryear, still harkening back to its storied history as a gas station. If you dine indoors, you'll enjoy views from glass garage doors.
When it's warm out, snag a seat on the patio.
The Station is home to a variety of vendors that dish up everything from traditional Mexican fare at Taqueria Tlaxcalli to ice cream and waffles at Nina's Waffles & Ice Cream.
While you'll definitely want to dine in just to soak up the ambiance, you can also order for takeout.
If you're a fan of pizza, stop by Itri for a wood-fired pie. The menu's brimming with classics - from veggie lovers and meat lovers to spinach feta and BBQ chicken.
It's all about the bagel at Manhattan Bagel, home of "fresh baked, boiled bagels."
For more classic eats, head over to Little Devils for a smash burger, a hot dog, or a chicken sandwich.
If you feel like kicking back with a beer and a bite, you can't go wrong at Neshaminy Creek Brewing. You might even luck out and visit when the outdoor firepit is roaring.
Find more information, including a list of vendors, on the official website of The Station. Or, stop by the Facebook page of Dublin Town Center.
