1. Ritter’s Cider Mill – 117 Wimmers Road, Jefferson Township, PA 18436
Plan a visit to Ritter's Cider Mill, a popular autumn destination for nearly 40 years. Spend a lovely day watching fresh apple cider being pressed, playing games such as apple slingshot, and climbing aboard a scenic hayride for a journey through the nearby woods and fields. Drink apple cider, of course, and buy a few gallons for the road. Ritter's Cider Mill opens for the 2017 season on September 9 and runs through December 23. Visit from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily through November.
2. Rickard’s Cider Mill – RR 2, Honesdale, PA 18431
Indulge in a long-cherished Pennsylvania tradition with a visit to Rickard's Cider Mill this fall. A family favorite since 1929, the cider mill sells fresh cider by the gallon. Be sure to also stock up on apples, honey, pumpkins, and maple syrup during your visit. Stop by Rickard's Cider Mill, which typically opens for the season in late September and runs through late November. Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.

Enjoy a delicious glass of fresh cider at Sally's Cider Press in Harmony. The family-owned cider press sells cider as well other scrumptious treats. Bring apples to the press with you for Sally's to turn into cider. Visit Sally's Cider Press when it opens for the fall season in early September.

Plan a visit to Keystone Cider Mill, a popular spot since 1920. Open from early September through November, the fresh cider is made on a historic cider press from the 1800s. Stock up on locally grown apples and apple cider during your visit.
