There's no need to drag your tube up the hill - just hop on the conveyor and glide right uphill to the top. This was the first summer tubing hill west of the Mississippi, and they've engineered it for the perfect ride.

Two lanes mean twice the fun, and you can race your friend down to the bottom. The hill is 300 feet long, so you'll be able to get some decent speed going.

The resort has also added another conveyor and six more tubing lanes, so the lines will be shorter and you can get even more runs in.

Almost anyone can play on the summer tube hill. You must be three years old and be able to hang on to both handles during the entire ride.

The summer tubing at Mt. Hood Skibowl is just one type of tubing option in Oregon; you're probably also familiar with river tubing, which is a popular pastime in the Beaver State. Our state is home to some pretty amazing rivers with gentle currents and cool waters that make for epic summer tubing in Oregon! One of our favorite rivers for summer tubing is the Deschutes, located in central Oregon. This resplendent river actually flows right through the center of beautiful Bend, Oregon, and there are several adventure outfitters there that can assist you with setting up an epic river tubing excursion! On a summer day, you're likely to cross paths with numerous other floaters and paddle boarders taking advantage of the warm weather and beautiful scenery. A popular route is floating from Riverbend Park to Drake Park. One awesome perk of taking this route is that after your float you can walk or take public transit back to Riverbend Park to fetch your car. There's also a Sun Country Tours inner tube rental kiosk at Riverbend Park, which will set you up with a ticket for a shuttle ride back after you're done.

Another river with incredible tubing in the Beaver State is, of course, the Willamette. There are numerous places to float along the Willamette River, and if you're looking to float in the lap of luxury, definitely look into a Yacht Tub! For purists, though, one of the most memorable outings is the yearly River Raft Float event, wherein hundreds of people grab their inner tubes and other floatation devices and set off on a massive floating celebration of the Willamette River.
