You’ll Never Forget Your Visit To The Most Haunted Restaurant In Portland
Any place that was once a brothel and opium den is definitely rich in history, and sometimes, if you are lucky, a few spirits stick around for a little more fun after their time is up. At The White Eagle Saloon, paranormal activity is no stranger and the historic building is thought to be one of the most haunted eateries around Portland.

The White Eagle is located in the Eliot neighborhood of North Portland in the shadows of the Fremont Bridge, adding to its spooky allure.

Proudly serving drinks, and more recently food, since 1905, the saloon was once a gathering place for the neighborhood's Polish immigrants.

Today, it is owned by McMenamins and features the restaurant and brewery chain's fresh menu and wide selection of beer.

Whether you stop in early or late night, the kitchen is ready to serve you up some delicious food despite all the ghostly happenings taking place.

Music is a big draw to the bar. A chance to see a little paranormal activity is another.

Reports of brooms launching into the air and chairs shifting on their own are just a couple of the haunted occurrences that visitors have reported.

Legend has it, that a woman named Rose was murdered in the upstairs hotel and continues to haunt visitors to this day.

She is said to have been murdered in the 1920s, and her unavenged death has caused her to haunt the halls, moaning and scaring visitors all the while.

Eating at the restaurant may be a little frightening, especially if you see a chair move on its own. Sleeping might just be too scary, but if you are up for it, this is definitely the place to test your nerve.
