The Majestic Seaside Town In Oregon You Need To Visit
Located on the coast of Lane County, the beautiful town of Florence is absolutely magical. Rimmed by the Siuslaw River on one side, and the ocean on another, this charming town is surrounded by immense natural beauty. Eat at amazing restaurants, stroll along a boardwalk, visit a stunning lighthouse, and so much more in this unique and charming town.
The town itself - as well as the surrounding scenery - is positively stunning.
I definitely recommend exploring the town on foot; part of what makes Florence so wonderfully unique is the experience of stumbling across beautiful and unexpected gems.
There are plenty of great places to stay the night in town, including River House Inn, Old Town Inn, and the beachfront Driftwood Shores Resort (pictured below).
Everyone will enjoy a peaceful stroll along the waterfront. You can watch the fishing boats at work, eat fresh caught seafood, and peruse the lovely boardwalk market.
There are plenty of incredible restaurants to choose from, including the unique (and renowned) Waterfront Depot, pictured below. Housed in an old train station, this cozy yet atmospheric restaurant serves delicious, locally-sourced cuisine and offers gorgeous riverfront views.
While you're in the area, take the opportunity to check out the stunning Heceta Head Lighthouse. If you'd like, you can actually book a room for the night in the light keeper's house, which has been renovated into a lovely and unique Bed and Breakfast.
