The Lighthouse at Lake Hefner is a scenic spot in Oklahoma City that boasts the most photographed lighthouse in the state. The Lighthouse stands at 36 feet tall and was built in 1999.
The official name is the Lighthouse at East Wharf and is located on Lake Hefner, a 2500 acre lake built in the mid-1900s.
You never know what scene you will encounter when you visit. A foggy day makes for an even more spectacular setting.
The Lighthouse is a member of the U.S. Lighthouse Society and is one of the most photographed spots in the state.
It was inspired by the second oldest lighthouse in the country and is built of concrete.
