It's no surprise that Oklahoma has some beautiful places to photograph. From sand deserts to red rock canyons and everything in between, the Sooner State is full of awe-inspiring places. Most of our iconic landmarks look like they belong in the state but there is one that looks like you're in New England. The Lighthouse at Lake Hefner is a scenic spot in Oklahoma City that boasts the most photographed lighthouse in the state. Any time you visit the lighthouse, you'll notice tourists and photographers capturing this gorgeous landmark, many with epic sunsets in the background. The Lighthouse stands at 36 feet tall and was built in 1999.

The official name is the Lighthouse at East Wharf and is located on Lake Hefner, a 2500 acre lake built in the mid-1900s.
