This Haunted Trail In Oklahoma Will Take You Somewhere Absolutely Terrifying
Visiting pumpkin patches and enjoying hayrides are traditional fall activities. But for those looking for something absolutely terrifying, there’s a haunted trail event at Turkey Mountain Urban Wilderness in Tulsa you won’t want to miss. Halloween is just around the corner and ghosts and goblins are on every corner, so if you think you can handle the terror of an up-close and personal experience with haunted creatures, keep scrolling to learn more.
Overlooking the Arkansas River in Tulsa is Turkey Mountain - home to miles and miles of some of the best hiking in Tulsa. It's a recreational haven for active lifestyles and the perfect place to go to enjoy nature near the city.
But from October 21-October 30, a portion of Turkey Mountain Wilderness Area is transformed into a haunted trail and it's spookier than you could imagine.
You'll pass through 10-12 scare stations that you will never forget. The experience is not recommended for children under 12, the faint of heart, or those with mobility issues.
You won't see the blood and guts as you do in haunted houses. Here, you'll experience a spine-tingling, spooky atmosphere. Be sure to purchase your tickets early as they usually sell out fast.
