In charming Milford, Ohio, The Governor is one such place. The Governor is a 55-seat diner named for John M. Pattison, whose Victorian mansion Promont is a beloved Milford landmark. While it's only a few years old, this restaurant has an old soul that gives it presence. The location certainly helps; this modern diner and bar is nestled between the centuries-old buildings of classic Main Street, USA.
Inside, you'll find red-and-white checkerboard table cloths covering the tables, with both booth and chair seating available. You'll quickly befriend your fellow diners, as there is a friendly and open vibe to The Governor that encourages community and connection.
