Kreimer's Bier Haus is a family-owned German restaurant located right off I-74 in Cleves. It's tucked away next to the Great Miami River, giving it an even more authentic atmosphere. The exterior of the restaurant is a preview of the vibe you'll feel once you head inside.
The interior of Kreimer's is exactly what you would imagine finding in a tavern in the countryside of Germany. The dark wood, stone fireplace, and intricate German details all add to the ambiance of this westside eatery.
Of course, the food is one of the highlights you'll find when you visit - you have to try the Bavarian Pretzel Bread and German Egg Rolls, stuffed with corned beef and sauerkraut. You can get classics like Schnitzel, as well as delicious steaks, chicken, and sandwiches.
On Friday and Saturday nights, starting at 5pm, Kreimer's opens up their River Bar & Grille. This tiered patio space has its own bar and great views of the river. It's the perfect spot to enjoy a stein and some German appetizers in a festival atmosphere.
