There is a special sight to see in Modoc National Forest. This NorCal forest has wild horses roaming free. Located in the vast expanse of this national forest is Devil’s Garden Plateau Wild Horse Territory, as well as a corral. Take a trip to this remote area to get a chance of a lifetime to see wild horses up close.
It consists of 258,000 acres, which is made up of mostly Forest Service land but also includes tribal land, California state lands, and private land.
