Hayes Valley is home to many designer boutiques, craft and decor shops, and more. But it’s the neighborhood’s eateries that truly shine. Start your day on the edge of Hayes Valley at this cozy neighborhood cafe. Arlequin is a beautiful and affordable spot to grab a quick coffee, tea, or drink, and hang out with friends. Make sure to enjoy the street-side seating or the massive outdoor patio in the rear.


Another spot on the edge of Hayes Valley is the Grove. The Grove is a warm, woodsy, intimate spot that serves up mouthwatering comfort food. This is a great place for brunch or sandwiches. Enjoy the creative, indoor/ outdoor dining areas, as well.


Absinthe serves rich and delicious French and American Food, and is an ideal for brunch. Absinthe also happens to be one of the longest-running, landmark dining institutions in Hayes Valley.
