This is a good time of the year to find a restaurant with a view especially of a beach. The San Francisco Bay area offers more options than you think. These 10 restaurants will enhance any meal by giving you an added bonus of seaside beauty. Obvious beachfront spots are here like the Cliff House and more surprises outside San Francisco. 1. The Cliff House: 1090 Point Lobos, San Francisco
The Cliff House is a classic SF restaurant and attraction. Parking may be tough, but worth it for the views and old school ambiance. There are a few options here, including Sutro’s, known for its fresh seafood and the more casual Bistro Restaurant, a favorite for breakfast or brunch.
2. The Beach Chalet Brewery & Restaurant: 1000 Great Highway, San Francisco, 94121
San Francisco’s only other beachside restaurant sits alongside Ocean Beach and offers awesome and memorable views of the Pacific Ocean. The food here is American-style, but we highly recommend going for the beer sampler and burgers.
3. Louis’: 902 Point Lobos Avenue, San Francisco, 94121

If you want to get out of the area and explore a prime beachfront spot then go to the Picnic Basket in Santa Cruz. This is a great place to dine right across the street from the beach. The food is reasonably priced and centered around quality breakfast and comfort food. Outdoor dining will provide you with a view of the beach, but this is about 70 miles south of San Francisco.
