Christmas in the Park is officially open for the 2020 holiday season! Located at History Park in San Jose, the event has pivoted to a drive-thru experience and it looks as magical as ever.
Christmas in the Park is a beloved family tradition that dates back to the early 1950s. Every year, thousands of families come out to enjoy the whimsical displays, dozens of Christmas trees, and vibrant holiday lights.
This year, you can still enjoy all of your favorite parts of this treasured holiday tradition. In fact, they've even added some new features, like a light tunnel and spirit meter, to make the event all the more memorable.
As you drive through the attraction, you'll enjoy views of 32 homes, businesses, and landmarks that have all been dressed up for the holidays. The event is focused on harnessing the "charm and ambiance of times gone by," and we think they've definitely succeeded.
The decorated Christmas trees are always a crowd favorite at Christmas in the Park! From the comfort of your car, you can view hundreds of trees, all of which are decorated differently and each as delightful as the last.
This year, reservations are required and must be made online in advance of the event. The cost per car is $10 from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and $20 from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Tickets can be purchased here.
Christmas in the Park is currently open every evening through January 3, 2021. It is suggested that cars arrive early (up to 45 minutes in advance of your ticket window.) Learn more about Christmas in the Park by visiting their website.
