The One Annual Food Festival That’s So Perfectly North Carolina

With summer winding down, it’s only natural to start planning for the (not so) cooler months ahead. Sure, fall might be hiding out until October, but many of us are already in the mindset to make the most of the season including planning trips and outings and also embracing ‘festival season’ including apples, kites, and of course, seafood.

We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life as we all practice social and physical distancing. While we’re continuing to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, we don’t expect or encourage you to go check them out immediately. We believe that supporting local attractions is important now more than ever and we hope our articles inspire your future adventures! And on that note, please nominate your favorite local business that could use some love right now:

Have you attended the North Carolina seafood festival before? I can’t wait to dig in to some fresh crab and shrimp this year!

For another must-attend festival coming up, how about this stunning kite festival?
