Whether you want to become the next Van Gogh, or be able to ski down a mountain; in North Carolina you can learn to do just about anything. There’s no denying we are a very artistic state as well, and with an abundant amount of artists residing here, they’re sure to share some tricks of the trade with you. From surfing, to pottery, to BBQ, these eleven things are just the start of what you could learn in North Carolina.

Make photography more than a hobby and take a class. The The Light Factory
in Charlotte offers classes on DSLR, studio lighting, darkroom, and Photoshop. You can even use meetup.com to find photography lessons, field photography, and 'walking' photography hobbyists (think 5-10 photographers who get together, walk around a cool place, and snap pictures) who share your passion.
