There’s A Major Blackout In North Carolina And The Fix Could Take Weeks
Due to a construction mishap, a portion of the Outer Banks has been left in complete darkness. Early Thursday morning, a steel casing was driven into the underground transmission cable near Pea Island. Officials estimate that a proper repair could take weeks and the power outage just as long to fix. Here’s more on the Hatteras blackout:
