The Underrated North Carolina Attraction That Will Add Adventure To Your Summer

Part aquarium, museum, zoo, and treetop adventure…this destination might sometimes fly under the radar for non-Triad residents, but is a must-visit!
From interactive, mesmerizing exhibits for children to a gorgeous aquarium where you can see sharks darting by and a stingray or two...this Science Center is so much more than just 'science.' It's an educational adventure allowing small children (and adults) to see things they might never have the chance to.
While the resident tiger is a must-see, the Science Center is full of exotic and cute animals to check out. There are lemurs, monkeys, snakes, otters, penguins, snapping turtles, exotic frogs, alpacas, a wolf and even a wallaby.

One attraction perfect for summer is the 'SkyWild' treetop adventure theme park. SkyWild was designed to allow those to experience a variety of animal behaviors while getting a fun workout.
The performed actions encourage those to mimic animal behaviors, like waddling, leaping, and crawling.
