The next time you’re in or near New Bern, head to Tryon Palace. If you can’t budget an entire day to explore everything there is to do at this attraction, then at least plan to spend a morning or afternoon checking out the gardens – and the captivating maze of the formal garden room known as the Latham Garden.

Tickets for all of the attractions at Tryon Palace (including the North Carolina State Museum) are $20/adults and $10/youth grades 1-12. A Gardens Only pass is $6/adults and $3/youth grades 1-12. For more information, see this link on the official website! For hours of operation – and a possible discounted ticket price (for the all-inclusive pass) due to renovations taking place at the Pepsi Family Center and Dixon House, check out this link on the website.
