Walk Through A Sea Of Orchids At The North Carolina Orchid Festival At The North Carolina Arboretum
What could be better to chase away the winter blues than a sea of orchids? Orchids have captivated humans for ages and this is your chance to see them in droves as scores of orchid growers and vendors descend upon the North Carolina Arboretum for a two-day orchid festival, Saturday, April 4 and Sunday, April 5, 2020.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life as we all practice social and physical distancing. While we’re continuing to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, we don’t expect or encourage you to go check them out immediately. We believe that supporting local attractions is important now more than ever and we hope our articles inspire your future adventures! And on that note, please nominate your favorite local business that could use some love right now: https://www.onlyinyourstate.com/nominate/
Do you or does someone you know love orchids? We can’t think of a better way to learn all about them and develop an even deeper appreciation for this lovely flowering plant than at the Asheville Orchid Festival – a Western North Carolina Orchid Society event now in its 22nd year! Learn more about the event from the official website.
