It's no secret that Niagara Falls features some of the most awe-inspiring views in the country. And even though the massive falls are a must-see landmark in this gorgeous area, people often miss out on some of the landmark's lesser known hikes, which feature landscapes you won't believe.
For a scenic walk that's pretty simple for even the occasional hiker, take the 2.3-mile Goat Island Scenic Walk, which boasts beautiful scenery at all times of the year.
You can also take the longer, 3.5-mile Robert Moses Trail, a fully paved walkway that you can take to enjoy some stellar overlooks of the falls and the Niagara River.
The Niagara Gorge Rim Trail and Whirlpool Rapids Loop is another ideal out and back trail for any and all adventurers. It has a moderate rating, but the views of the river are unforgettable.
Once you've spent a few hours exploring the stunning landscapes around Niagara Falls, a visit to the observation tower will just be the beginning of your future adventures near the falls.
