This Snow Tubing Adventure Is The Most Fun You’ll Have In New York All Winter
As New Yorkers, we’re professionals at turning lemons into lemonade, so when a great big snowstorm rolls around – we just turn all that fresh powder into our own personal playground! One of our favorite ways to make use of all that snow is to spend the day flying down the biggest hills we can find with whatever sort of snow tubes we have at the ready, there’s actually even quite a few handfuls of snow tubing parks that you can visit in New York. For this year’s winter season though, one snow tubing park is offering something more spectacular than all the rest – take a peak.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. Out in Chautauqua County in the charming town of Clymer, Peek'n Peak Resort has its very own snow tubing park that will surely leave you impressed.
You've most likely enjoyed nighttime snow tubing before somewhere in New York, but have you ever gone flying down a huge hill that's also lit up by thousands of vibrant LED lights?
This year Peek'n Peak Resort features Lunar Lights Tubing, giving you a brand new standard from here on out when it comes to going snow tubing at night.
Set right in the heart of New York's snow belt, the park features seven lanes that are lit up by pulsing and fading lights that are choreographed along to the music that plays.
For the park's narrow lanes, a maximum of two tubes can be linked together, while in the larger group lanes you can link up a maximum of four of tubes. You'll never have to go tubing alone if you don't want to!
You'll never have to worry about tiring yourself out either, thankfully the park has its own Magic Carpet lift that will bring you up to the top of the hill time and time again.
