This lovely spot was opened up by the pair that owns Crave, a popular Albany burger joint.
The husband-and-wife team felt that the Albany area lacked quality options for authentic Southern fare.
The Cuckoo's Nest serves classic Southern food with a modern twist. Fried squash with a honey drizzle and cinnamon crema might not be exactly what you'd expect, but it sure looks delicious!
And of course, you can't forget the chicken and waffles! Served up with a refreshing mimosa, and you've got a classic Southern brunch!

Lunch is just as delicious as breakfast and brunch. This is some of the best fried chicken in New York! You can even order a whole family-style meal to-go if you've got a group to feed.
