To live in a world in which chicken wings serve no true purpose sounds unbearable, luckily we can thank the great city of Buffalo for giving us the creation of Buffalo wings. While the true origin of Buffalo wings is a vague mystery to some, most will tell you the birthplace of this New York favorite was in the 1960s at Anchor Bar, located in Buffalo, New York. In the past 50 years, the people of New York have created many of their own personal takes on the legendary Buffalo wing. Check out the variety of places we’ve featured below on our list:

Starting off our list with where it all began, Anchor Bar!
