A Trip To This Themed Restaurant In New Jersey Is Simply Unforgettable
It’s always an adventure to dine somewhere different and if you’re looking for a unique destination, I’ve found the place for you. It will transport you straight to the wild west with its country theme, without being over the top or gimmicky. Don’t get me wrong, I love over the top and gimmicky (I’m talking to you, Rainforest Cafe), but the subtle, authentic cowboy vibe is refreshing.

They claim to be the best country restaurant in the northeast and I don't doubt it. The exterior may be unassuming but the wood paneled interior is decidedly western.

Enjoy a wide variety of country and comfort food favorites including mile high meat loaf and fried macaroni and cheese. They've got a great selection of burgers, too. All made with Angus beef, you can choose from options including the Texas Burger (topped with hickory smoked bacon, cheddar cheese and homemade chili), Southern BBQ Burger (topped with mayo , chipotle seasoning, BBQ sauce, Pepper Jack cheese and bacon) and the Western Burger (topped with mushrooms, onions, peppers and cheddar cheese). You'll also find seafood, pasta, fajitas and their famous steaks. Another favorite is their 28 foot long salad and produce bar. It's stocked with fresh fruits and veggies, pastas, cheeses and more!
They've got some great specials at Prospectors. There's an all you can eat soup and salad special (excluding French Onion) for $7.99 on weekdays. Their $14.99 Sunday brunch buffet ($9.99 for kids 10 and under) is phenomenal. The giant salad bar is included, in addition to a Belgian waffle and pancake bar, omelette bar, pastry and bagel bar, cereal bar and numerous chafing dishes. You can create the morning meal of your dreams! Sunday and Monday evenings mean prime rib specials. For $18.99, you get prime rib served with your choice of produce bar, side salad or soup plus hot, homemade rolls and one side item. And did I mention that they've also got a full bar? Happy hour (4-6, M-F) means half price appetizers and drink deals. With a sizable selection of craft beer and ten big screen tvs, it's a great place to catch a game.
