Here in New Jersey, we love our burgers. There’s something to be said for the classic roadside fast-food burger or slider, where you can just dig in, polish them off in a minute, and head back to the counter for seconds. But then there’s the other type of burger – cooked to order, topped with a laundry list of possible condiments, toppings, cheese, and extra meat, and brought to your table looking like an edible Leaning Tower of Pisa. There are plenty of places serving massive burgers in New Jersey, but we’re partial to a a rustic old-school joint in Galloway – Tony Beef. This classic institution, owned by two brothers who also have a second location in Somers Point, is best known for its massive and creative burgers with just about every topping combo you can imagine. Stretch out those jaw muscles – you’ll need them!
