This Upscale Restaurant In A Former New Jersey Firehouse Offers An Unforgettable Dining Experience
Are you on the hunt for a fun and new dining experience in South Jersey? One of the most unique restaurants in New Jersey, Firehouse Bar & Grill, is located in a historic firehouse right in the heart of Egg Harbor City.
The building itself is the former Egg Harbor City Firehouse, which was built in 1918 and remained the city's main station until 1974.
At the time it was built, Egg Harbor had decided to merge all three of its smaller fire departments, and the larger building accommodated their equipment. They didn't have shiny red trucks at the time -- the bays were initially occupied by horse-drawn wagons.
Now, thanks to a creative restauranteur, the formerly shuttered firehouse is a welcoming bar and grill that serves up some of the best food in the area!
The main menu features so much more than buffalo wings and french fries. You'll find elegantly plated seafood and steak dishes, delicious tacos, and elevated cuisine that will certainly impress.
