There’s No Other Stewart’s In The World Like This One In New Jersey

Stewart's in Pier Village, Long Branch offers a unique dine-in experience with vibrant retro decor and a bar, unlike typical Stewart's locations.

Stewart’s got its start in Mansfield, Ohio in 1924. By 1931, the restaurant became a franchise. There are now 60 Stewart’s locations, 38 of them being in New Jersey. At one time, the restaurant only served popcorn and root beer but now you’ll find a full menu of comfort food favorites including burgers, fries, hot dogs, sandwiches and salads. The majority of Stewart’s restaurants are drive-thru joints with carhop service but there are a handful that are a bit different…and there are none quite like this.

Pier Village is a Victorian-inspired mixed-use community in Long Branch, right on the beach. It offers shopping, housing and dining.

One of those dining options is a dine-in Stewart's!

The interior is vibrant and retro-chic.

From a 3-D car detail on the wall to a train set on the roof, the decor is unique.

There's also outdoor dining, enhanced by the ocean breeze.

The root beer is great - it was named the top root beer at the 2006 World Cup of Root Beer.

But this Stewart's location also has BEER beer - there's a bar! That's not something you usually find at Stewart's...

You’ll definitely want to visit this summer! Pier Village has a lot going on; Stewart’s is just the tip of the iceberg. Still, it is one of my favorite spots. I love the friendly staff and delicious food. For more summer fun in New Jersey, check out this mouthwatering milkshake trail.
