This Beachfront BBQ Restaurant In New Jersey Will Make The Season Complete

The Surfing Pig in North Wildwood offers bayfront BBQ dining with stunning sunset views and fresh seafood.

It's nearly beach season in New Jersey and many spots along the shore are already open. There's an abundance of good food to be found, so it can be difficult to decide where to start. I have dozens and dozens of recommendations, but I'll start with a BBQ restaurant that serves up some amazing sunsets...

The Surfing Pig is a spectacular bayfront BBQ spot in North Wildwood.

They've already had their soft opening for the season, and you can currently visit on weekends from Friday afternoon through Sunday. They'll be open daily beginning in May.

Right on the water, diners are treated to unobstructed sunset views.

They're truly breathtaking — you'll want to try and snag a spot on the patio in warmer weather.

Of course, we also love the breezy, beachy interior. It feels a bit like Key West.

You'll find garage door style windows that open up to let in the salty shore air that smells like summer.

While I could share sunset shots all day, it's time to talk food. The Surfing Pig serves up breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

The seafood is fresh caught and fantastic. You'll find oysters, Jersey Shore mussels, firecracker shrimp, and more.

But what I love best is the BBQ. Try the house-smoked pulled pork quesadillas or slow-cooked brisket cheesesteak topped with their homemade Klepto BBQ Sauce.

Don't forget drinks! Just check out this mouthwatering Bloody Mary. It's basically breakfast.

Enjoy handcrafted barbecue and stunning views! You'll find The Surfing Pig at 231 W. 10th Ave., North Wildwood. For more amazing shore area eats in New Jersey, check out this article.
