Follow A Sandy Path To The Waterfront When You Visit Barnegat Lighthouse State Park In New Jersey

New Jersey has hundreds of beautiful hiking trails all across the state but few (if any) are quite like this. You can take beach hiking to the next level when you visit Barnegat Lighthouse State Park. This trail is short, sweet, scenic, and sandy!

This park is a favorite among photographers and it has other perks for hikers including restrooms and adjacent restaurants. Kelly’s Old Barney Restaurant is closest and they are open for takeout. There’s also a nearby gift and tackle shop. While the park is open for passive recreation, some amenities, shops, and attractions may be closed.
