Stonehouse Bakery & Cafe in Barrington offers the quintessential New England bakery experience with some of the best sandwiches, treats and sweets in the region.

Homemade and baked daily, the donuts here are an incredible feast for the taste buds.

And there are so many to choose from that you'll be forced to come back multiple times to try them all.

Each one is unique and we often wonder if they hold special secret meetings to come up with new flavors to delight us with. One favorite is the blueberry cheesecake donut, which looks and tastes more like a decadent dessert than a breakfast treat.

To enjoy some camping vibes without having to sleep on the ground, try the s'mores donut.

There are more than 60 varieties of donuts to try, ranging from a plain cake base to a chocolate cake base to rings and shells and even some speciality donuts.

One is definitely enough for someone, but we think leaving with a few to try is the best way to visit.
